This guide will show you how to replace the Motorola Minitor V
circuit boards. Warning: We provide no technical support beyond this web page. If you attempt this procedure we will not assist you in any way, either on the phone or by e-mail. Proceed at your own risk! |
The first step is to remove the a small amount of clear adhesive that holds the charging contacts in place. Use a small tool to scrape off the adhesive to break the bond between the housing and the connector. |
Remove the charging contacts from the center housing. Be careful not to pull too hard or you will damage the ribbon connector. |
The audio jack protrudes into a hole in the center housing. To remove the audio jack, pull on the plastic center housing enough to deform the plastic and release the jack. |
The decoder board will now easily side out of the housing. Avoid turning the knobs to allow easier re-assembly. |
Pull the switch board straight up in a rocking motion to remove it from the decoder board. Warning: We provide no technical support beyond this web page. If you attempt this procedure we will not assist you in any way, either on the phone or by e-mail. Proceed at your own risk! |
